If you go to sleep, when you wake up, there will be a Gordo slime in the place where you put the snare. The snare is a gadget that you set down and then place a food into. In order to start placing gadgets, you must create them at the laboratory, using the correct materials. When you first begin using slime science you have no gadgets. In order to access the slime science menu, press down on the D-Pad and you will see purple spots all over the map where you can place slime science gadgets. In order to begin using slime science you must first unlock the Laboratory area behind the ranch. Snares are slime science gadgets that you put down on the purple nodes that show up when you enter Slime Science mode.
